My name is Stephanie Weaver
Living on the West Coast all my life, art is more than an expression, it is LIFE! With an eclectic background of urban and rustic, an organic bohemian vibe is woven throughout my art encompassing the modern artistic experience.
Having excelled in the arts early in life, writing and photography became second nature as my paintings evolved. Fixated on personal emotional experiences and environmentalism, early paintings were of flat acrylic that would later extend into multimedia acrylic and instillation performances.
Inspired by Frida Kahlo's paper mache statues and Van Gough's use of colors, it was Bob Ross's philosophy about art that continues the journey. With special fondness of contributions from Ntozake Shange, Mona Shange and Yayoi Kusama my art continues to grow and explore all avenues as the Wild West Coast Artist that I am.
